Whether you see them or not, they may be there. Whether you believe or not, it doesn’t matter. Simply be kind if you see one, or more, and offer them a cuppa – they may have come a long way to visit with you and a hot beverage is always appreciated, even by the coolest of spectral dudes.
Perhaps I’m a tad biased, but I’ve always said that our canine colleagues lack a little something, empathy wise. But then, nature will out, won’t it? And take-away is a treat any day of the week. That’s all.
I would simply like to point out that Jibber Jabber is a preferred language at the Ye Olde Mars-y Tavern, Bistro, Grill & Tuna Tagine on the shores of the beautiful Erythraean Sea here on the fourth rock. Especially after midnight.
Remember when your mother made boiled fruit cake for Christmas? Perhaps she still does. And my lovely mother, Mrs On Mars, was, and is, a dab paw at producing the most delicious of boiled tuna fruit cakes for all of the wee Martians in the neighbourhood. A little red-dusty, but delicious, and Mars-ish if not more-ish.
As for St. Olaf and Meerecatt Meallworme, they’ve come to an arrangement: a block-buster straight-to-video mega-classic misinterpreted epic fail called Jaws, Paws, Claws, Bores, and Laws, and Another Bloody War: The Umpire Strikes Back. Look for it at your local streaming-eyes online time-waster, or not.
All I can say is this: if you want to publish your nine lives, consider an ebook and save several thousand pages of delicious tuna-flavoured paper stock for your favourite feline friends, friends. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
